Hike through the winter wonderland

Our natural seclusion makes the Heuberge the ideal place for ski tours.

From the Heuberge, ski tours lead to the Mattjisch Horn and from there down to Langwies. The Heuberge thus connect the Prättigau and the Schanfigg.

Tours to the Parsenn area and to Jenaz are also possible from the Heubergen. From the Weissfluhjoch, for example, you can reach us by crossing the Durannapass. Afterwards you reach the Heuberge via Strassberger Fürggli.

Beginners

Thanks to the gentle nature of the landscape, the Fideriser Heuberge is the ideal area for easy ski tours. Every year, the ASVZ runs a beginners’ course lasting several days in the Heuberge.

The guides of the Ski & Snowboard School Saas will also be happy to guide you through the still unknown area of the Mattjischhorn and Glattwang. So you can enjoy your first attempts at touring without any worries and under competent supervision.

New winter hiking trail Prättigau-Schanfigg

From the winter season 19/20, the Heuberge in cooperation with the Hochwang mountain railways have created a winter hiking trail between the two ski areas. This winter there is therefore the possibility to walk on a prepared path between the Prättigau and the Schanfigg. The guests have the possibility to experience the panorama in the Prättigau, as well as the view in the Schanfigg with a 2h -3h hike. The length of the hiking trail is just over 6 km. After the hike from the Hochwang area to the Heuberge, you have the opportunity to jet back down to the valley on our 12 km sledge run. Thanks to the good public transport connections in Fideris and St.Peter, the hike can be started daily in both directions.

Enjoy the fresh mountain air, the breathtaking panorama, as well as the ecological ski area connection and recharge your batteries on our mountain!
