Ski school

Everything about the ski school at a glance

Since the 2012/2013 season we have been working together with the Ski & Snowboard School Saas.

While beginners take their first steps on skis or snowboard under professional supervision, advanced skiers polish their curve or deep snow technique.

We a also happy to organise a local snow sports instructor for ski tours or snowshoe tours. The trained guides will lead you through the still unknown mountain area of the Heuberge and will gladly pass on their extensive knowledge to you.

The Ski Dream Team & Snowboard School Saas

Our external snow sports instructors belong to the “Ski & Snowboard School Saas“. The ski school is a member of the Swiss Ski School and all instructors have completed its recognised training programme.

The leaders offer an individual experience for everyone. Beginners as well as advanced skiers will get their money’s worth at the ski school, as fun is the main focus of the lessons.

In order for us to be able to provide you with a ski instructor, we need to receive your registration at least 4 days before the desired date.

Spontaneous requests should reach us at least one day before the desired course date. In this case, however, it is somewhat uncertain whether a ski instructor can still be provided.

Registrations are accepted under Tel. 081 300 30 70 or via info@skischulesaas-klosters.ch Please provide us with the following information:

  • Full name
  • Mobile number
  • Sport (Skiing, snowboarding, touring skiing,…)
  • Age of the pupils
  • Number of pupils

Ski instructors & students meet at the reception of the Berghaus Arflina

Arrival

For house guests the journey is uncomplicated. The reception is located directly in the house Arflina. House guests from Berghaus Heuberge can reach us on foot or by bus. Guests from the valley can reach us by bus from Fideris Sawmill. At 09.00 a.m. a bus will take you directly to Arflina. For guests in the afternoon we recommend the bus at 11.30 am due to possible waiting times.

Age

The ideal age to start skiing is about 3-4 years. If desired, the ski instructors can also give lessons to younger children. Of course it is possible to learn skiing later on and the instructors patiently take time for the students, regardless of age and discipline.

Beginners

For beginners we recommend to start the first day of ski or snowboard school with a half-day course. The first steps on skis can be strenuous and should not overstrain you or your children. You can use the other half of the day for other activities. For beginners we recommend to start the first day of ski or snowboard school with a half-day course.
